Head of Stress Policy,
Health and Safety Executive

Rob is responsible for driving forward action to tackle work-related stress as a priority within HSE’s Health and Work programme under its current strategy, Helping Great Britain Work Well. This involves working in partnership with those best placed to secure changes in attitudes and behaviours – industry representatives, OGD’s, business intermediaries and the wider health and safety community. Rob joined HSE from Acas in 2010, where he was Area Director responsible for advisory and dispute resolution services in Merseyside and Cheshire. During his time at Acas he spent two years on attachment to the North West Regional Development Agency, promoting Acas services as a key element of the Agency’s business support offer.
